My best memories of Jon are of he and Lisa having fun and laughing in the kitchen while they prepared a wonderful dinner for Jim and me. Jon had an easy smile and a hearty laugh. He was a very loyal and giving friend.
Every December 26th, a group of friends meet at Ken Stewarts Grill in Akron for an annual memorial lunch. Jon is definitely one of the dear friends we miss, toast and remember so fondly at that event.
I remember him being a nice and friendly guy. I remember the Christmas decorations and the Christmas tree in the back sunroom. He was always friendly and happy, and he was always excited around the holidays.
